My father is truly an admirable person for his outstanding qualities.

He has guided me to the right path so that I could shine in my career and personal life. When I was a
kid, he helped me in all possible ways, when I turned a bit matured he showed me the ways to
choose. The most important thing is that he never forced me into doing something or performing
after his will. He always left the issues on me, showed the ways, and I decided the right road. With his
advice, currently, I am an established photographer in the society. He bought me the first camera of
my life by cutting his costs in half when he came to know that I would like to be a photographer.

My father has retired from his job and now passing his days with the family and friends. Most of his
friends have also retired like him and together they pass their moments by recalling their olden days.
Sometimes my father takes my mother for outing too. They spend all the day outside and return at
night as they used to do in the first hours of their marriage. I like the romanticism between my
parents. Moreover, my father loves gardening, and he takes care of the garden before our house.
Frequently he buys flowers of different categories and asks me to get his photos with the plants.

I admire my father and will continue doing so for his honesty, his sincerity and the sense of
responsibility. I have never seen him ignoring his responsibilities to my family. The most important
feature of my father is sympathy for others regardless of relations. When someone of the family
turned ill, he rushed to take care of the patient amid his thousands of responsibilities. He also used to
help the destitute relations and also hide the events to us. I am truly lucky to have a father like him.

I usually make friends easily, so I have a lot of friends – schoolmates, neighbours, relatives. I can’t imagine my life without them. But
there is one, who will always be in the first place in my heart. Her name is Anna and she is my closest friend.

Anna is a very beautiful and charming girl and always attracts males’ attention. She is taller than me and has straight brown hair and deep
chestnut brown eyes. Like most teenagers she pays a lot of attention to her appearance and likes dressing in the latest and most
extravagant fashion. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in a T- shirt or jeans.

By nature Anna is communicative and outgoing and the thing she likes best is being the centre of attention. Her biggest dream is to
become a singer and I truly believe that one day she’ll make her wish come true. Anna has won many prizes and has taken part in many
concerts, because she sings really incredibly.

As a normal human being, however, Anna also has her shortcomings. She never goes on time to her dates. Sometimes she is absent-
minded and inconsiderate and that makes people think she never takes things seriously. But this is not true. She has a strong sense of
responsibility and you can always rely on her.

Another characteristic she has is that she’s gregarious, sensitive and emotional. She also gets confused easily and doesn’t forget those
who have caused her harm.

The thing I admire most about Anna is that she is protective and likes to look after people. Believe it or not, once she ever saved my life!
I’ll never forget that day. We went swimming in a pool. Suddenly, my left leg went dead I couldn’t go on swimming. I lost consciousness.
When I opened my eyes I found myself lying and Anna holding my hands. She, herself had pulled me out of the water. That was a real
narrow escape from the death, and if she weren’t there, I would have drowned.

For me, friendship is the most important thing in the world. I am proud to say that I have such loyal and helpful friend – one in a million.

today, I am going to tell you about my favourite season. Honestly, I love all the seasons but I think my favourite is spring. Usually, it
starts at the end of December in our country and lasts till the middle of March.

The weather in Vietnam is the best during spring because you will not suffer from the excessive heat of summer or the freezing wind of
winter. The temperature is tolerable both day and night. One of the best things about spring is that, during this poetic season, nature
displays itself in beautiful green and flowers are noticed everywhere. Fruit trees, such as cherry and apricot trees are in full blossom, and
colourful flowers such as daffodils and marigolds bloom in parks and gardens.

The sounds of spring are wonderful too. A typical spring day will begin when some birds start their morning chorus as they look for a
mate. We also celebrate Tet, one of the most anticipated holidays by the Vietnamese people. This is an occasion for pilgrimages, family
reunions and many festivals. Parties full of delicious traditional dishes are the main theme for the whole holiday of Tet.

I am of the opinion that different kinds of weather can affect people’s health. Even among those in the prime of health, an excessively hot
or cold day can lead to illness or injury, let alone the elderly, who can be more susceptible to extreme weather conditions. Weather can
also make a huge impact on people’s lives. Obviously, the weather dictates what you are going to wear for the day, often depending on
the time of year. Also, winter snow storms in Western countries can cancel school or make your morning commute a hassle.

một ngày quá nóng hoặc quá lạnh có thể dẫn đến bệnh tật hoặc thương tích, chưa nói đến người cao tuổi, những người có thể dễ bị ảnh
hưởng bởi điều kiện thời tiết khắc nghiệt hơn. Thời tiết cũng có thể ảnh hưởng lớn đến cuộc sống của con người. Rõ ràng, thời tiết quyết
định bạn sẽ mặc gì trong ngày, thường phụ thuộc vào thời gian trong năm. Ngoài ra, những cơn bão tuyết mùa đông ở các nước phương
Tây có thể hủy học hoặc khiến việc đi làm buổi sáng của bạn trở nên rắc rối.
