1. Why are glass fragments packed in solid containers like box?
 To prevent breakage and damaged edges during shipment. 

2. Why is not advisable to use envelopes as package for fragments?


 Avoid the use of paper envelopes to contain loose pieces of glass.

3. In case of Hit and Run, why should the investigator collect and submit the victims
clothing to the laboratory?
 Because the laboratory will conduct examination upon the victim’s clothing, they
will examine the glass particles embedded in their clothing’s.
 Examination includes thickness, surface texture, color fluorescence under short
and long wave ultraviolet light, and measurement of density and refraction index.

4. Research on the definition of the following terms

A. Foot Impression- the mark made by the outside surface of the sole of a shoe 
B. Moulage-an impression or cast made for use especially as evidence in a criminal
investigation.
C. Casting Material-This replication-based process involves the introduction of materials in
their liquid state into a micro structured replication mold.
-The typical casting materials used are molten metals
and thermoplastic polymers.
