Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
from an accredited college.

- This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected
candidate to be a US Citizen.

Job Description
- Candidate should be able to develop and implement Manufacturing Process Plans (MPP's) for a
variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.

- Utilize basic drafting and software programs to develop MPP's, design tooling, support equipment,
process flows.

- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly


performance.

- Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields.

- Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

- Investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous
improvement.

Desired skills
• Experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing in accordance with IPC-J-STD-001.

• Experience with automated electronics manufacturing, including Pick & Place, SMT, Wave Solder and
PTH.

• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

• Ability to work with supply base.

• Familiarity with Windchill is preferred.

• Detail oriented personality will be a plus.

• Excellent process development and documentation skills. (MS Office)

• Experienced with visual based work instructions (creating and providing feedback)

• Ability to use CAD software (Creo and AutoCAD preferred)

• Capability to learn quickly

Work Schedule Information


Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office
and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
