This an exhaustive work and will well become a reference book for scholars
who would like to know more about the country. One can choose ones
friends but one can't choose ones neighbours. Like it or not, Myanmar is our
neighbour to the East with a common boundary of 1643 kms with India,
clearly demarcated, and passing through some of the roughest terrain in the
world. The area is rife with ethnic tribes, insurgent armed groups and
nefarious people who would like to use the borders for smuggling ...more
