Cough Variant Asthma is a form of asthma in which the predominant symptom is chronic dry
cough without the characteristic symptom of asthma (wheezes, congestion, dyspnea). The main
point for making it as our main diagnosis is because the history of persistent dry cough that
occurs at day and night time that often interrupts sleep. Coughing is increased when exposed to
asthma triggers or allergy-causing substances like dust or when they are in cold temperature.
