2. How important is listening? Why?

- Listening is very important because it gives a powerful message to those with whom you
interact. They hugely increase your capacity to influence, motivate, develop or serve
people effectively.

3. How does listening affect interpersonal relationships? Cite some concrete examples/
scenarios about it.

-By listening carefully when someone speaks, we’re telling them that we care about what
they’re saying. It’s also important to remember that listening is contagious. When we listen to
others, then chances are they will be more inclined to listen to us.
