gDiaper is a company that sell a hybrid diaper which have velcro tabs that close in
back and composed of a lightweight outer cotton shell, a snap in wipe - off able inner liner with
a biodegradable (flushable , diposable , compostable ) . It’s focused on reducing the
environmental impact of disposable diaper. gDiaper are way cuter than disposable diaper, they
are less bulky and provides mobility for the babies. This product claims of having green and
eco - friendly baby products.
8 )How did the Entrepreneur start the business ?

Mr. Jason and Mrs. Kimberly is a normal married couple, who expecting having
their first child. But, they already have sensibility of parenting even before they having their
babies. It is because they were really concerned about 50 million disposable diaper were being
thrown away every single day in United States, and each one of those 50 million disposable
diaper would take about 500 years to biodegrade.
Surely, they wanted to be better to take care of their babies and the earth at the
same time. Then, they began looking for an alternative way to reduce the environmental impact
of disposable diaper. Mr. Jason and Mrs. Kimberly were thinking about diaper that could
appeal to a generation reliant on convenience without sacrificing its fits, function and
environmental integrity. Obviously, the conventional disposable diaper were out. And they
thought “cloth” going to reduce the garbage burden.
The idea behind gDiaper is to produce biodegradable , flushable and home
compostable nappies. Then, the couple agreed to met a brilliant tech out of Tasmania, a
biochemist who came on board with the idea of working with them exclusively.
In 2004, the pair brought this revolutionary new concept to the United State and
created the gDiaper brands which proved a wise strategy. The business keep getting people
recognition and enjoyed solid year - on - year growth.
Now, gDiaper has international official branch in United Kingdom , Canada ,
Germany and South Korea.

8) Implementation of the business

gDiaper intends to win and maintain their customers by providing products that
added value in terms of price, quality, safety, availability, and functionability and are supported
by a dedicated, well - trained team. They need to be sure by this successful implementation fot
their overall strategy. Hence, they must ensure that focused and working harmoniously can
bring them towards attainments of their goals and objectives.
This company intend to emphasises focus towards their employees as marketing
strategy. They thought that being focus in their effort can informing their customers of their
existence and the products were able to be supply. Besides, local market gDiaper also focus on
entering the regional market. This is because of their confidence in their product as well as
their business operations. gDiapers co - founder intend to focus on delivering the quality on
their products at affordable prices that can produce good referrals, which can generate revenue.
Mr. Jason and Mrs. Kim also think that provides a fair and safe workplace for all
employees as an important aspect of being a socially responsible corporation. gDiaper is a
Flex- Friendly Certificate company, which receives help to promotes themselves to candidates
and consumers while learning best practices from other savvy employers. In addition, Flex-
Friendly Certificate helps organizations develop business strategies to maximize performance.
A flexible work arrangement allows employees to alter the time and place to work
on regular basis by allowing for flexibility in the amount of hours worked, flexibility in
scheduling and flexibility in the place of work. It’s can create healthier and happier employees
as well as reducing costs related to absenteeism and reducing the turnover rate within
companies. The couple said that flexible work environment is beneficial not only for them but
also for their employees and customers also. Since, gDiapers has implemented this type of
environment they have maintained a near zero attrition rate, which is the continuous wearing
down or weakening of a company do to the gradual reduction of the work force as personal
resign or retire.
The Flex- Friendly environment helps gDiapers avoid internals costs when the cost
of replacing an employees is estimated to be 1.5 times than the annual salary of that employees.
This flexible framework is imperative to create a vibrant and productive workforce, create
reciprocal, trusting relationship within industry, and allows for employees to finish their works
when it makes the most sense for them.
The importance that gDiaper stresses upon family is shown within the physical
office as well. Parents that working at the company are encouraged to bring their children to

should be intertwined cooperatively.

The good work of gDiaper has not gone unrecognised. The company has been the
recipient of numerous awards. In 2009, gDiaper were voted as Inhabitot’s Best Green Baby
Product, which cited gDiaper for creating a revolutionary green diapering system that’s easy on
the earth and easy for the parents to use.
