replacement /rɪˈpleɪsmənt/
a person who replaces another person in an organization,
especially in their job

to put a notice, etc. in a public place so that people

Wendy: Yes, it’s a big change to go from sales representative to sales manager. But I think
you would make a good manager. I encourage you to apply for the position.

Some Tips for Getting a Promotion


1. Set a goal for your career and work towards that goal.
2. Keep a positive attitude at work.
3. Avoid office gossip(绯闻) and office politics (办公室政治).

4. Help your boss with their work if you


can.
5. Volunteer for new projects.
