I find Dadaism specifically this activity very fun and interesting. It was kind of odd for me
creating a poem that doesn’t have its “meaning” or sense. I really enjoy picking up words one by one
while waiting for the final outcome of my poem. To be honest, I thought of handpicking the words
instead of randomly pulling it out from the box then I realize that if I do that, I will not understand
the truest essence of this art movement. In conclusion, I was contented of the result. I believe my
poem is amazing in a way that it is very unique. I love the feeling of being a poet even just for a
moment. It really felt great finishing the whole activity and that I was able to create a poem.

As the Dadaism movement implies, they are focusing on art pursuing irrationality and
negation of traditional artistic value. Before, I thought of poetry as something that give a definite or
concrete meaning. I thought that it can only be treated as a poem if and only if it is significant and it
is composed of purposeful ideas. Poetry is only one of many different kinds of art that cannot be
limited by the “commonly accepted” definition of what really art is. I truly appreciate Dadaist Art
movement because it gave freedom and a chance for every person and object to be recognized as an
artist and an artwork consecutively. This movement made me realize that creating a definition of art
is very complicated. Art for me is boundless and cannot be restricted by certain rules.
