Summative Task on Multiplication ( an Array City)- 18th November, 2021

Math activity based on real life situations-

● Students will create a place using multiplication arrays.


● Like- Skyscrapers, park, market, school, apartment building, office
towers or a classroom using the concept of multiplication arrays.
● They can show the arrays in the form of a model or a poster.
● Their array city should show at least 5 arrays in the form of windows or
floors of 5 buildings.
● Students should use arrays to model multiplication sentences.
● A neat image to be submitted to the teacher by holding your project.

Materials required:

● Cardboard/Infraboard size 35cm x 50cm or a shoe box to show 3D


towers or buildings.

● Ruler, glue, origami paper, scissor,double tape, etc

● Buttons, Ice cream sticks, stickers , coins, beads, Cut out pictures etc.

● Base for the project can be prepared earlier with the parents' help.
Sticking of creative material to present arrays to be done during Math
class on 18th November, 2021.

● Use your creativity by using different materials to make it.
