Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to describe the bar chart with jobs done at
home with suitable statements.
LEARNING
OBJECTIVES
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and answer
appropriately to at least 4 friends about the jobs done at home.
Pre-lesson: Pupils draw a table with housework as shown as the sample. In pairs, pupils
ask one another what their favourite subjects are.

Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils are directed to textbook page 21and ask the pupils what they think the children
are doing.
2. Pupils are going to go around and take turns asking pupils in other groups what jobs
TEACHING they do at home.
& 3. Pupils take notes of the jobs done at home and the number of groups in their
LEARNING ACTIVITES
exercise books.
4. After all the groups completed, they carrying out the survey, pupils return to their
groups to tally up their results and make a bar chart with the results.

Post-lesson: Get pupils to complete the exercise in workbook page 16. Then, discuss the
answer in the class.
