Why is English a Global Language?

When it comes to languages, there is a solid case to be made that there is a significant relationship
between dominance and cultural power. Furthermore, the major reason for the languages' popularity is
owing to a strong power basis, whether economic, political, or military.

The English language evolved from languages such as French, Latin, German, and other European
languages. This might be one of the reasons why many Europeans do not find English difficult to learn.
Furthermore, linguists debate whether the English language's simplicity is the primary reason for its
success as a worldwide language.

People tend to find it easier to recognize and understand the Latin script of the English language.
Furthermore, the pronunciation of the English language is not as difficult as that of other languages such
as Korean or Turkish.

In general, the level of difficulty of a language varies from person to person and also relies on the society
to which one belongs. A Korean, for example, would have less trouble acquiring the Japanese language
than a German would. This is because the Korean and Japanese cultures are so similar.]

Because of the enormous British colonial conquests, no culture has completely lost touch with the
English language or terms. As a result, English should not look too foreign or odd to any population. As a
result, learning English isn't such a big issue for most individuals because they already have some
experience with the language.
