This module on MTL 701/MTB-MLE: The Teaching of Mother Tongue is divided into several
parts and section. It has parts that is intended only for Prelim, Midterm, Semi-Final, and Final with
different topics, activities, and learning objectives. The sub-parts of this module will be weekly
distributed for you to focus on a certain learning objectives/outcome thus make sure that your
output will be submitted on or before the due date.
This module will hone you skills in describing elementary science in Kinder to Grade 3, list
sample common terms in the mother tongue that will be used in teaching elementary Araling
Panlipunan. This will enable you to craft and make lesson plans that ate age, culture, and interest
appropriate with regards to the background of your future learners.
Widely open your understanding as you encounter a lot of dialects, and native language of
your co-learners.

Overview:
This module will focus on use of mother tongue in teaching
elementary Science and Araling Panlipunan vis a vis making of lesson
plan.
