Activities included in punch list

 All welding / NDT / testing like vacuum box,RF pad test,pressure testing etc. and erection activities shall be completed
before punch list walk down.
 Client shall be notified with RFI at least 24hrs prior to punch list walk down for release for hydro test/mechanical
completion.
 Before walk down ensure availability Client approved punch list formats and verify the job with latest revisions of IFC
drawings including any redline mark-up drawings, approved ITP, WPS/PQR, Project specifications and Latest codes and
standards.
 Pre fabrication records including MTC and other test certificates and welding/ ndt and testing /PWHT shall be reviewed.
 Close monitoring of every component of the following as per IFC drawings shall be conducted during walk down.
1. Annular Plates.
2. Bottom plates.
3. Shell Plates.
4. Roof plates.
5. Shell and Roof Nozzles and RF pads.
6. Internal piping.
7. Any Permanent attachments.
8. Temporary attachment removal areas..
9. Painting and coating.
 During the walk down and immediately following the walk down, all punch points (category A/B) from all participants
are to be consolidated on the master punch list. The master punch list will then be reviewed jointly with participants to
agree punch item categorization.
 Significant observations regarding the design of the facilities made during walk downs should be treated as Non-
conformance if not built as per specification and NCRs shall be issued or if additional requirements are identified above
the base scope, treated as Contract variations.
 Category “A” Punch: Must be completed prior to Hydro test/ Mechanical completion.
 Category “B” Punch: Must be completed prior to Handover.
 Any punch points cleared by welding shall be carried out by approved wps/pqr. Any applicable Ndt & Testing shall be
carried out as per approved procedures.
 The Construction and Quality engineers shall regularly monitor the progress of outstanding punch list items clearance
and they shall plan/assign the priorities in line with scheduled completion dates.
 Resolution of punch list items shall be carried out by Construction and Quality engineers. Once the Punch list is
physically closed out in field, as per IFC drawings, Construction and Quality engineers will sign it off on the original
Project Punch List form and submit to client. Then client shall verify the punch item against IFC drawings and other
quality documents.
 Completed punch list shall be closed off by client shall be recorded and included in the final documentation.
 Release for hydro test / mechanical completion certificate shall be issued up on closing of master punch list.
