ENCODING NAMES OF PUPILS

IN E-CLASS RECORDS

After my Grade 4 EsP Online class observation, my

Cooperating Teacher gave me a task which is to encode the names of
her pupils to the E-Class Record. E-Class Record is an Excel
Wordbook that consists of DepEd’s Grading System which allows the
Grades input automatically to be computed. I was so excited and a
bit nervous… I’ am excited knowing that I will be able to experience
encoding pupils’ names, and a bit nervous because it's my first time
doing it and I don’t want to make any mistakes. Because, aside from
encoding names, I will also have to remove all the existing scores
and computed grades.

During my task, I’ve learned the techniques and hotkeys in

encoding names by exploring them by myself. I was also amazed at
how those things work and make things much easier to do. I also
wonder how hard it is for our senior citizen teachers that don’t have
any idea on how to utilize it. I want to express my deepest
appreciation to our new generation teachers that patiently guided
and mentored our senior citizen teachers during these trying times.

The learnings that I obtained in doing this activity will remain

and surely be transferred to the next generation of teachers. Rest
assured that when the time has come, I will share all my knowledge
and learnings not only with my pupils but also with my co-teachers.
