Terms & Conditions 2017-2018
Application All fares are One Way fares; fares are valid in either direction. Fares may be doubled (200%) to create RT fares.
Travel Period Fares are effective for tickets issued on/after 01 April 2017 until 31 March 2018. Subject to change without notice.
Travel must be completed by 31 March 2018.

Flight Application Only valid on JAL international flights only.


GK operated flights are not permitted domestically in Japan.

Application of nett fares Nett fares must be ticketed on JL ticket stock.

Eligibility Eligibility and Documents for MARINE passengers


Persons who are joining for, or leaving from, active seagoing duty or work on board a Naval or Merchant Marine vessel (including cruise liners)
weighing in excess of 100gwt (as defined in IATA Resolutions 087aa and 090 appertaining to ships crew fares).

l Seamen
l Engineers / contractors / inspectors / maintenance staff traveliing to carry out work on a vessel whether in dock or at sea.
l Cruise ship crew including on-board entertainers and medical staff
l Dredging crew
l All countries National Navy officers and staff

Documents Passengers travelling on JL marine fares must carry at least ONE of the following forms of ID for checking by JL airport staff:

l Valid Seaman book.


l Copy of original signing-on or signing-off papers.
l Valid Cuise Line ID card or copy of valid Cruise Line contract of employment.
l Copy of crew list for on-signing or off-signing vessel.
l Letter (on company* letter header paper only) in English which contains the following information:
- Passenger name
- Date of travel
- Vessel name (which pax is actually travelling to/from and this must match vessel details in PNR)
- Port of Embarkation or Disembarkation
- Position or Duty on Board e.g. Captain, Inspector, Engine Maintenance, Contractor etc…

*Shipping Company, Ship Management Company, Manning Agency, Port Agency, Contractor or Vessel ltter headed paper or fax copy are all acceptable.
For "freelance" contracted staff on ad-hoc duties on board a vessel a copy of their contract with the Principal is acceptable.

Eligibility Eligibility and Documents for OFFSHORE passengers


Oil and Gas exploration and production workers travelling to/from duty on any type of land or offshore rig platform whether fixed, floating or
manoeuverable under its own power, i.e. Fixed, Compliant Towers, semi-submersible, Jack-up, Tension Leg, Spar rig.

l Anyone employed to work on an offshore rig providing engineering, mechanical, scientific and management servises such as
Geologists, rig Managers, Drilling crews, load-handling crews, catering/living quarters crew.
l Sub-contractors providing ancillary services to the rig/platform such as “mud engineers”, diving crew, helicopter pilots.

Documents Passengers travelling on JL offshore fares must be able to produce:


l Letter (on company* letter header paper only) in English which contains the following information:
- Passenger name
- Date of travel
- Platform/Rig Name (which pax is actually travelling to/from and this must match rig/platform details in PNR)
- Position or Duty on Board e.g. Captain, Inspector, Engine Maintenance, Contractor etc…

Any passenger travelling on a JL Marine / Offshore fare who cannot produce any of these documents previously specified at time of check-in
can be denied boarding.

The following categories are NOT eligible to use the JL Marine /Offshore Fares:
l Spouses, children and infants
l Company managers and office based staff (including managers travelling for inspections and meetings, sales visits, courses/training, medicals, conferences
and family visits).

Reservation / Ticketing Fares are nett without any tax or fuel surcharge.
Applicable taxes, passenger facility charges, surcharges, and any other airport/customs fees, etc. must be added to the above fares at the time of ticketing.
Only valid for e-Ticket issue by IAS. PTA not permitted.
Ticket validity: One year
Ticketing of waitlisted segments is not permitted. OPEN sector not permitted.

Maximum Sector Maximum Two international sector and Two Japan Domestic sector allowed within one ticket
Class Combination N, K, S, X booking classes can be combined on one ticket, e.g. PUS-TYO in K class– TYO-JKT in N class.

Changes Flight/date change permitted at any time without penalty. In case of change of booking class, plse advise IAS and a new ticket will be issued.

Rerouting Not permitted. A new ticket must be issued.

Stopovers Not permitted.

Discount NO DISCOUNT PERMITTED.

Endorsement box NON ENDOS / NON REROUT.

Refund Full cancellation/refund permitted for completely unused tickets without penalty (including no-shows).
No refund for partially used tickets.

Baggage allowance 2 pieces - Max. Weight/pc = 23kg, total weight max. 46kg
