Evaluation

90% of pupils were excited and ready to be a part of the lesson while the other 10% of pupils

seem a bit lost. In completion of the task given the entire class participated and were able to

share their previous knowledge and use the knowledge gained during the course of the lesson.

Pupils were also excited to play the evaluating game at the end with pass the clock. Overall a

total of 14 out of 16 pupils grasped concept, remediation and home assignment will be done with

the other 3 pupils.

Report on Quiz

On the 2nd November, 2021 a five minutes quiz was administer to 17 pupils based on the lesson

that was taught two weeks ago.

An analysis was further done on the results and it is reflected as follows: 11 pupils passed which

is equivalent to 65% and 6 pupils failed which is equivalent to 35%. Out of the 11 passes there

were 6 boys and 5 girls which leave 3 boys and 3 girls who would have failed. 2 pupils got a

total of 0 out of 5, 4 pupils had a total of 2 out of 5, 5 had a total of 3 out of 5, 6 had a total of 4

out of 5 while there 0 pupils who had a total of 5 out of 5. The average score overall is 0.24.

Reflecting on the item analysis question 1 had a total of six pupils, question 2 had a total of 8

pupils, question 3 had a total of 14pupils, question 4 had a total of 15 pupils and question 5 had a

total of 12 pupils answering the question correctly.

Based on the analysis done it can be seen that the boys would have performed better than the

girls overall. More than 60% of the pupils would have performed very poorly in questions 1 and

2. In questions 3,4 and 5 more than 70% of the pupils answered the questions correctly.

Although the pupils performed fairly in the quiz it can be recommended that remediation work

be done on questions one and two while more practiced work should be done on questions three,

four and five.
