Data

appropriate for a given situation. Graphs
must be accurately drawn so they can
provide the correct information for further
exploration of the topic.
Pie Chart
A pie chart is a circular graph

Bar graph shows the differences in
individual values horizontally or vertically.
It works best for one or two data series.
Bar graph has advantages:
 It clearly shows the differences between variables
or values
 It clearly shows the rise and/or fall in one variable
over the other
 The value of one variable can be easily determined
given the value of another
Line graph uses points to
show the trends in representing
variables of a given data. This points
are connected by line to show how
the trend changes over a period of
time. It is best used for quantitative
data because it clearly used the rate
of change between variables with the
points and line.
