5. A hare and a tortoise lived in a forest. The hare was very

slow tortoise ever win a race?”
The tortoise agreed. The race began. The hare ran very

turned round. He saw the tortoise coming slowly. I shall
take a rest and still win the race.” The hare then went to
sleep.
The tortoise kept on walking slowly and steadily. Soon he
passed the hare, whom he found fast asleep and reached
the finishing line. When the hare woke up, he saw the
tortoise near the finishing line. So he ran very fast. But
by that time the tortoise had won the race.
