 What are the factors and forces that influence one’s view on the self?
 In what aspect of your life you were able to show the different sides of yourself?
 By knowing the different models of self, how possible in your own perspective that it is
rooted in culture?

Answer:
 –There are various factors that can affect self-concept, these include: age, sexual
orientation, gender and religion. The self-concept is also made up of a combination of
self-esteem and self-image. Self-esteem refers to a person’s feelings of self-worth or the
value that they place on themselves. Social and family influences, culture, and the media
all play a role in shaping who we think we are and how we feel about ourselves.
Although these are powerful socializing forces, there are ways to maintain some control
over our self-perception.

 –Your Behavioral Aspect –. Human behavior includes your physical actions, movements
and how you express yourself. You will be able to show a different side of yourself when
you, yourself accept who you really are and if you realized that it is not wrong to show
who you really are, being yourself doesn’t mean disappointing others thus being
yourself helps you to be the best version of who you are!

 –Culture is one of the greatest factors for one’s persona or identity. Thus, one can be
understood by also giving regard in the understanding of one’s origins and/or culture.

The culture, which is also the environment that a person’s is built or traced to, provides
the basic identity of a person. A person’s beliefs, principles, knowledge, traits, values,
and society are the integration of what his or her culture developed him or her. It is not
a sole contributor, rather an integral part of a person’s stance in the society. This aids in
the belongingness of a person and leads to his or her norms and societal race or group.

Cultural Perspective can be defined as:

“Cultural perspective refers to the way that individuals are shaped by their
environments as well as social and cultural factors. Such factors include a
person’s nationality, race and gender.” Reference.com
