You should have the same number of stitches as the number in using yellow yarn: -5sc in a magic circle, slst into the first sc and fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew on using yellow yarn: r1: 6 sc in a magic circle (6) r2: Inc into each st (12) r3: 1sc, Inc x6 (18) r4-9: sc around (18) -now, add the safety eyes oa Ou between r5 and 6, 4 stitches apart and embroider beak in between using orange yarn. using yellow yarn: 110: 1sc, dec x6 (12) -ch 2 and sl st into the 111: dec x6 (6) first ch, fasten off - fasten off, sew close and weave leaving a long tail to in ends sew on wings: sew the wings on between r5 and 6 at the side of the body around 2 stitches away from the safety eyes. feather: attach right on top of the chicks body, directly above the magic ring. fishing fouckey: using light brown yarn,embroider feet, here is an example photo congratulations, you have now finished your chick! if you would like to make a hat for your chick, follow the next slide remember to sl st into the first st and ch 2 at the end of each r. you do not have to ch 2 at the end of the last row. | recommend using a slightly smaller hook to make the hat. (example:if you used a 3.5mm hook for the body, try to use a 3mm hook for the hat. Don't worry if you do not have a smaller hook though, it should still fit fine.) using yarn colour of your choice: r1: hdc 8 into a magic circle (8) r2: hdc 2 into each st (16) r3-4: hdc around (16) r5: hdc 3 into each st in flo(48) -fasten off and weave in ends. thanks for using my pattern, I hope you enjoyed making it!!
