What to do upon arrival:

Upon arrival you should head to the main reception where you will find details where your classroom is
located. You will be met by your tutor in the classroom.

What to bring:

You will be provided with a folder containing the course slides, with space to take notes. Stationery will be
provided however you may wish to bring a pen.

Refreshments and Lunch:


Refreshments and lunch are provided. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know as
soon as possible (via the pre-training survey) so we can inform the venue. If your training course is taking
place at etc.venues in London, complimentary breakfast is available from 8am.

Travel and accommodation:

All bookings should be made on a refundable basis until the course is guaranteed to run (30 days prior to the
start date). Our courses are non-residential, however local recommendations can be made upon request.

Pre Course Preparation:

The course start/finish times are Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm. On the Friday the examination (if you are
registered to take it) will start at 9am, however you will be asked to arrive earlier to complete some
paperwork. Please bring valid photographic proof of identification with you for the registration process. The
examination will last for 2 hours, so you should be finished by approximately 11am, however we ask
delegates to allow until 12pm if they are making travel arrangements.

Please ensure that you take along a copy of the Good Practice Guidelines 2018 to the course as it is the
essential study material. We advise reading the GPG 2018 at least once before attending the course, as it is
recommended to complete a minimum of 24 hours of individual study prior to the exam. The following link

You will also be sent a pre-training survey which will just take a couple of minutes of your time and the
information will be invaluable to your tutor.
