Dear Sir,

I am very much grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to conduct field work about some
contemporary issues which are suitable for research. I went to my assigned village named Uttor
Laxmipur under Vhobanipur union, Barura, Cumilla. During visiting the village I was talking
with some of villagers and went to the Uttor Laxmipur Primary School. I have got some
interesting issues which are mentioned in the below.

1. The infrastructure and roads are worst.

2. Villagers are so much generous but they fell uncomfortable to share information about
villages.
3. Villages are satisfied on their local representative but there are no mentionable
development activities or infrastructure.
4. On an average, one person in each family works abroad.
5. There is only one primary educational instruction, but villagers demanded for higher
educational institution.
6. The financial sources of most of the families are agriculture.
7. Water and Sanitation problems exist in the village.

These are the topics which I have got during visiting the village.
