KATE APP
KATE is an application developed to grant our resellers,
trainers, and trainees digital access to our training
course materials. KATE is a freeware application
compatible with multiple operating systems
supporting both our training course content formats,
regular format with slides, and eLearning format with
video training course sections recorded by PECB
certified trainers. After being enrolled in a training
course organized by a PECB authorized reseller, you
will be notified by the PECB system when the training
course materials are made available for you to access.

You can access the training course materials on

KATE using one device at a time. You can log out of
one device to log in to another device if you prefer to
continue studying using a different device of yours.
KATE is equipped with the features listed below you
can use during your training course:

• Access the regular training course content

format and eLearning format (videos)
• Download the training course files locally
• Store personal notes which will be available
during the online exam session if the exam is
open-book
• Submit feedback to PECB
• Launch the presenter mode
• Select the slide quality and slide loading mode
depending on the internet connection speed

You can log in to KATE using your PECB account

username and password. As a username KATE only
accepts the email address associated to your PECB
account. The PECB ID will not work as a username to
log in to KATE.

Note: KATE cannot be used to take a PECB online exam. The

application for taking a PECB online exam is PECB Exams. A link to
download PECB Exams will be provided to you by the PECB system
after your online exam schedule has been approved.

PECB EXAMS APP

PECB Exams is the application that we have
developed to allow our training course participants
to take their certification exam online. Candidates
preferring to take the exam online instead of
the paper-based option can benefit from the
advantages that the solution offers. The application
is free, and one can use it after scheduling an online
exam with PECB by logging in with the same PECB
Account credentials at the exam day, 30 minutes
before the planned starting time.

With PECB Exams,

you can take the
certification exam at
the location and date
of your choosing and
comply with PECB online
examination policy.
