key employees to compile data for the returns. Provides annual Board of Director
assisted review before filing.
 Prepares all other non payroll tax filings to include: excise tax returns, property tax
exemptions, personal property tax filings and acts as lead on any state audits.
 Maintains grant accounting records for the Medical Center and ensures proper
recording of contributions on the general ledger.
 Prepares annual business interruptions and property values statement for Medical
Center insurance policy.
 Assists staff accountants with technical accounting issues.

 Reconciled complex operating cash account. Developed new reconciliation procedure
for this account when internal processes changed making reconciling using the existing
procedure impossible.
 Maintained fixed assets records including monthly depreciation entry. Developed
annual capital and depreciation budget and tracked monthly budget versus actual
spending. Completed project accounting for $13 million Emergency Department
addition.
 Assisted various Medical Center departments with their annual budget submissions.
