Use Auto CAD software for all drawings.

1) Design a two storied apartment block for 4 residential units. (2 units for each floor)

Design the staircase at center.

I. Include the following features

a. Living and Dining

b. Two Bed Rooms (12’x 10’)

c. One common Bath Room

d. Pantry

e. Balcony

II. Draw floor plans and the cross section. (50 Marks)

2) Using the Above Apartment block (Question No. 1) draw sewerage and waste water

pipes in a plan with all necessary Manholes & other details up to Septic Tank position

& W. W. pit. Mark all descriptions, invert levels, directions and necessary

dimensions.

3) Draw the following cross section of underground water sump for the apartment
block to the scale of 1”= 2’-0” and mark all the reinforcement appropriately. The
length & the width of the sump is 10’-0” and 5’-0”respectively. Depth of the sump is
8’-0”.
Use Y12 bars @ 6”centers for all reinforcements. Show inner & outer/Top & bottom
reinforcement clearly. (25 Marks)
