SCHOOL VAN SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

The main aim of this project is to measure the speed of the vehicle and to the
engine, when the setup control the fuel supply, speed is exceeded. In this project, a
dc motor is fixed in the vehicle. When the vehicle is driven beyond the particular
speed limit, first the microcontroller gives warning by alarm. The Vehicle is driven
at high speed after the warning, the motor decreases the supply and automatically
the speed comes to the control level. It ensures safe traveling save from human life,
and save money from fuel consumption. It gives safety traveling in more traffic
areas also. In our project the microcontroller measures the speed using opto sensors
and an automatic braking is applied by the relay. Consequently the supply to the
motor is cut off.
