 Chapter 1

INTRODUCTION

The proposed business name is “JAMEL’S CORNER PLANT STAND” the word JAMEL is
the initial name of the two person named JangJang and Ramel who is the owner of this business.
This name is chosen because this business reminds us united as one. This project is made of
wooden Yemane (Gmelina arborea) that will be assembled into a 1-2 tiers formation which shall
be primary utilized to organized the plants at the same time, can be used as a decorative object.If
you want plants inside your home, and have free corners, then why not use a corner plant stand.
They keep your precious plants elevated so they aren't accidentally kicked over, and your pets
won't be able to meddle with them.

A wooden corner plant stand for indoor use is an organic option. Wood can handle anything you
throw its way with the exception of water and moisture. There are, of course, certain types of
wood that can resist moisture damage. Planting in your house is an easier concept which many
people, especially children, can understand. Planting in your house can be more exciting where
your plants are safe and have a unique style especially if your plants have a flower pot stand. In
the common market, there are many choices of flower pot stand. Collecting flower plants have
been tradition for decades until now many people still collecting flower plants but the problem is
the small area they have so it’s very useful that plants have a place and organize and safe. People
can select from a common flower pot stand, there so may unique style of flower pot stand and
some have a different color that make your flower pot stand nice and clear to see.

Table shows that as the business demand year 2018 is not big but in consecutive years the
demand increasing because of pandemic. The demand and supply will still increasing if the
pandemic never ends.

B. Marketing Strategies/Program

These are the marketing programs of JAMEL’S CORNER PLANT STAND

1. RELATIONSHIP MARKETING – this strategy will create a great

relationship between business and customers. This will foster customer’s

loyalty, interaction and long-term engagement. To have strong

connections with customers by providing them with information directly

suited to their needs and interest and promoting open communication.

2. SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING - provides companies with a way to

reach new customers, engage with existing customers, and promote their
 desired culture, mission, or tone. Creating Facebook page Instagram and

more to reach more customers and communicating through online.

3. DIGITAL MARKETING - Digital marketing is the use of the Internet to

reach consumers. Digital marketing is a broad field, including attracting
customers via email, content marketing, search platforms, social media,
and more.

C. Contribution to Local Economy

This product contributes not only on the proponent but also beneficial for the skilled

workers who will manufacture the corner plant stand. As the business grows many workers

will also have job. It also provides opportunity and income to the workers as well as

maintenance. Providing them monthly salary, bonus, healthcare and other benefits. This also

helps our small business owner’s, resellers to earn and sell our product at a reasonable and

affordable price.
 CHAPTER III

TECHNICAL ASPECTS

A. PRODUCTS

The JAMEL’S corner plant stand will be packed very well before it
proceeds to its final process the delivery. Corner plant stand will first have
displayed in our physical store and eventually posted on social media and to invite
customers. Afterwards, will be the direct suppliers outside Butuan City and will
be accepting shipping to all areas nationwide.

B. MANUFACTURING PROCESS

B.1 Yemane (Gmelina Arborea)-

The Yemane as a major raw material in processing the product will be

purchase at Agusan del Sur, as the area have its plenty plantation of Yemane.

B.2 Process Flow

- PREPARING – setting up the materials to be need in manufacturing, like

wood saw, nails, sandpaper and etc.

- CONSTRUCTING – making the corner plant stand depends on the

request size of the customer

- FINISHING – in this process the stand is now ready to be painted but

before that the corners and edges will be polish by sandpaper for a smooth output.
 - PACKAGING – will be in 2 layers, first is the bubble wrap or
transparent cellophane all over the stand to protect the edges and corners to avoid
damages, and last is the box sealed with tape and also with the logo and contact
numbers of the business for inquiries.

- DELIVERY – the final process of the product, this will be sent to the
buyer’s address via cargo or bus.

B.3 Service and Maintenance

All business has a standard guidelines and house rules. To be able to maintain the

operations area, everyone should always clean their designated areas before leaving. Every

worker who violates one of the rules will have a sanction or consequences to be disciplined. All

members in the said business should cooperate and helped each other to maintain the cleanliness

and relationship in each co-worker. The business will hire a maintenance staff; they are

responsible for the entire check-up of the machineries, systems and the building.
 CHAPTER IV

FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY

A. INITIAL CAPITAL REQUIREMENTS

The initial capital requirements will be PHP 100,000.00.

B. SOURCE FINANCING

The project is a partnership of the two owners JANGJANG and RAMEL.

They both invest cash amounting PHP 50,000.00 each for a total of PHP
100,000.00. The total amount will be deposited at Philippine National
Bank (PNB).
