Cheetah and Leopard <Perfect MLA formatting!

Most people find it difficult to differentiate a cheetah from a leopard. It is usually easy to

get confused by the same physical appearance of these two kinds of animals- they both have

black spots on their bodies. Although they seem so similar in appearance, they certainly have

numerous dissimilarities too.

Cheetahs are longer on the shoulder than leopards and are higher above the ground.  They

have a solid round or oval shape clearly separated from the other parts of their bodies.  Their eye

color is brownish yellow.  Their tails are a bit flat and wide. When chasing their prey with high

speed, Cheetahs use these stirring tails to track them quickly. They require a potentially

explosive speed, so they have great back feet that help them speed up. Cheetahs only can purr.

(awkward sentence) Maybe: Cheetahs, although one of the big cats, can still purr. ?

Leopards are the smallest of big cats, yet they are more assertive and more aggressive

than Cheetahs. They are more muscular cats than Cheetahs, using their powerful strength to stalk

prey. They have minor, irregularly shaped spots that form rosettes when they are clustered

together in circles. Leopards’ eyes color<delete come in a variety of colors, ranging from vivid

blue to bright green. The form of a leopard’s tail is tubular. They utilize their tails to maintain

balance, especially when traversing through forests. Their front feet are more extensive than their

back feet to support the massive, powerful legs they need to help climb trees. Leopards can also

roar and growl.

Cheetahs and leopards both have yellow fur with black spots on them. They are also

mammals and can control their body temperatures. Sub-Saharan Africa and parts of Asia are
where they may both could<delete be found. They belong to the same family of kingdom

Animalia, using spotted coats for camouflage during hunting, carnivores, and with common

ancestry.

In conclusion, Cheetahs and leopards seem similar, but they have different tail sizes,

sounds, body shapes, eye colors, and feet usage. It might be unclear determining a Cheetah from

a leopard. Make sure to check it closer. It is essential to learn the difference between a Cheetah

and a leopard to know which one it is when you see one.

Great form and style. Cheetah is a proper noun so should always be capitalized. I am not

sure about leopards because there are many types of leopards, but Cheetah is proper. I made a

few suggestions but there was nothing major I had to correct or point out. Great job Grade 96%
