SIMPLE PHRASES AND SENTENCE CONSTRUCTION

In sentence construction and simple phrases always remember to translate English

sentence to Chinese characters. It is similar in English sentence construction.

Follow these steps:

Your Student———-NI DE XUE SHENG 

Our classmate————WO MEN DE TONG XUE

“SHI” is used as a linking verb such as; is; are; am; was; were.

As “IS” 

She is Mei Ling————Ta shi Mei Ling

As “ARE”

They are my parents——————Ta men shi wo de fumu

As “AM”

I am Wang Zhi Lei————-Wo shi Wang Zhi Lei
