MyCard Reader Installation Manual

1) Install SmartCard Reader driver (Device: SCR3310 v2.0 , Driver: run “Setup_UL.exe” and
SCR3xxx_V8.51.exe (update file)

2) On client PC, copy jpcsc.dll and paste it in “C: /Windows/”.

3) Please make sure your java applet work on your browser. For test it please go to
“https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp” and verify your java.

4) Go to Java Control Panel (Control Panel > Java), add “SPP” url into “Exception Site List” at
security tab. (Eg. “http://172.19.64.222:8080/” without quote.)

5) Test your application.

Internet Explorer Setup for MyCard Reader

1) Open Internet Explorer and follow instructions below:

a. Go to “Tools” > “Internet Options” > “Content” tab

b. Click “Certificates” > “Import…”

c. “Certificate Import Wizard” will appear, click “next”.

d. “Browse” the certificate file “cert.p7c” (select All Files), click “next”.

e. Tick “Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate”, click
next.

f. Click “Finish”, done.

g. To check your certificate, navigate to “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” Tab and
find “Heitech CA” double click to show certificate information.

2) Open SPP and test on Patient Demography page. It should display as below on first time. Just
tick “Do not show this again for apps from the publisher and location above” to permanently
disable “Security Warning”. Done.
