Time :- 28 April , 1 AC ( After

Corona ) .

It's the last class of our session . The

history professor was quite tired and
tensed . She seemed to be in hurry .
After all , she has to complete the
syllabus . After all , it was the only
class she had .

Composing herself , she entered the

class and started teaching. The topic
was " Nazism and Fascism " . The
class started at 9:30 A.M. Everyone
was tensed . Though the no of
students were less , the prevailing
atmosphere of uneasiness was quite
rampant on their face .

One face , however, was more tensed

than other . Yaw had been behaving
eerily for quite some time. Yesterday
, she asked me , " Will there be class
tomorrow ?" . I told her ,"Yes !"

She asked me the same question

today . She had asked me the same
question for 5th time and she asked
it on the day before yesterday . How
strange ! Who wants to come to class
? What's so exciting about it ? Isn't it
boring ?

Anyhow , we concentrated on class .

Damn ! This pandemic has forced
everyone to sit so far and apart from
each other. I can't even gossip with
Ruja and Yajum about the latest news
. Oh my bad ! How badly I wanted to
tell them about the snitching scandal
of the college .

Yajum was absent today , by the way

. I heard that they had taken many
people in her colony to the "Centre" .
Oh how much I dreaded that place !
No one who went there came back
.God knows what goes on there !

Well , the class was going on . I felt

such an urge to go back . Somehow,
the history teacher managed to
complete the "Nazism and Fascism" .
The World War 2 was remaining .
Damn the history! Why can't they
just mind their own business and
keep quiet? We have to read so much
of damn thing . Luckily, it's online
exam these time .

"Shall I continue or shall you come

tomorrow ? I have to go through the
World War 2 also and I don't know
what to do . I will come to college if
you come . What you say ? Or shall I
just give you notes ? Online class ?"
asked the history teacher.

" Ma'am, let's click the pictures of the

portions and make a pdf of it . We
can share that and will read from it .
After all, it's online exam . " I
suggested .

" Ok then ! Click the picture and

make a pdf and share it . With this , I
guess our history syllabus is
complete ." said the history teacher
with relief .

We clicked the pictures. Ah ! My legs

got numb . Some I clicked, some Ruja
. Yajum was not there . We posted the
pdfs in group and thus the class
ended .

Then suddenly , I felt the urge of

having a group picture . After all , it's
the last class of the semester .

Benches arranged and pictures

clicked . Everyone was ready to go
back . Back form where they came
from .

" Will there be class tomorrow ?"

asked again Yaw . Stupid Yaw ! Why
so bothered with class ?

" There won't be any classes, you

Dumbo . This was our last . From
next month , we will be having
classes off ." I told her .

" Ok ok " said Yaw .

But then again I asked myself . " Will

there be any classes ? Not tomorrow
but ever ? Will Yajum and others
come back from the "Centre " ? Will
there be any more classes ?" With
the questions in my mind , we
headed towards the canteen ,to have
some chit chat and fun for the last
time . Who knows , will there be any
classes ever ?
