SOKU - GETTING STARTED

- What is Soku ? How do I play it ? -

- th123? th123e? -
th123.exe is the original game in japanese.
th123e.exe is the game patched in english. THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO RUN.

- Rename your profile -

If you want people to recognize you, better get a cool name!
Go to Main Menu > Profile > Edit Name > (Pick the profile called "Edit me") and
enter your nickname.
You can also receive a profile from someone by downloading their .pf file and
putting it in your "profile" folder located in the root directory.

- Change your layout -

Go to Main Menu > Profile > Key Config, and hit the keys you want to set for each
button.

"Do I need to enable Simultaneous buttons?"

Likely not.
A+B switches card and hit A or B depending which you pressed first. This is however
very unstable and may lead to misinputs.
B+C activates the current card you are holding without ambiguity.
Only a few characters benefit well from this like Komachi's a22 Touch of Death,
which you can level and hold through B+C.

- Customize your decks -

Each profile has 4 decks associated to it.
In Main Menu > Deck Configuration > (Select the profile whose decks you want to
edit), you can customize pick up to 20 cards per deck among the 4 decks you will
bring with you. Make sure to explore the effect of each card!

Note: The default decks are actually pre-made, however only the green deck abides
faithfully to the meta, the other decks do as well in their system/skill/spell
distribution but not in their composition, and are meant for you to discover all
the abilities of characters in soku!

- VS Network (Online) -
Soku uses rollback and automatically port forward in your stead (thanks to
SWRSokuroll and Autopunch SWRSToys mods).
The InGameHostlist mod replaces the default VS Network by an improved system
connected to a Discord bot.
Hit left/right to change tabs between the waiting hosts and the hosts that are
already playing.
