UMEED – A DROP OF HOPE

1.Introduction :-
I am chandha venkata chetan from Vijayawada.
I loved to do internship in umeed – a drop of hope. I selected option-
b than is Government scheme awareness campaign. On this theme i
meet and helped two privileged persons.

2. Importance :-
This type of government schemes awareness is
very important for the development of under privileged people and
for better society. This can may reduce a little bit poverty and makes
our country better.

3.Strategy and technique :-

My strategy and technique is search and find
underprivileged persons. Then, I ask them and know what they about
government schemes and then I told them and also help them in other
government schemes which they don’t know and which are help full
for them.
4. How I did it :-
I found two under privileged persons near my locality.

 The first person is a auto-rickshaw driver. His vehicle was

very old and getting out of condition. Due, to this problem he
suffering from a few months.
I identify him and explained him about the
new central government scheme of PM-GPY (Pradhan mantri
gramin parivahan yojna) which a scheme provides 40% of
subsidy on buying new auto-rickshaw. This scheme is very
helpful to him. So, I explained him clearly about that and
helped to apply for that scheme, like form filling, checking
the status of his application etc,.

 The second person is a daily labour. He had a son, studying

11th class (intermediate). He is a very good student with merit
percentage of above 80%. Due, to his family financial
situation, he is struggling for studying peacefully. For
financial support I explained him about merit scholarship by
central government and helped him in applying for that
scholarship. Due to his merit score and previous performance
he will defiantly get that scholarship and get a free from his
financial issues for his studies.

5. Where I did it :-
In my locality, I done this. That means in Vijayawada-1.
6. Final result :-
At final, I used to help a person to buy a new auto-
rickshaw for better life. I used to help a student for getting his
scholarship from government which is helped him financially
