You have identified the facilities and resources of your school. What other facilities and
resources do you think are needed for other development programs?

College of Marbel Inc. are School Clubs that provide opportunities for
students to focus on a specific area, thus allowing members of every
club to develop their skills and interests in that area. Another is the
School Gymnasium, where the big events take place because I observed
that our school has a difficulty in implementing various activities in

What aspects of development domains can you suggest as needing attention by the
As a student of King’s College of Marbel Inc., for almost 4 years, it already carries the
Cognitive /Intellectual Domain. We have the best teachers and their teaching skills to
be proud of. I observed that our school focuses much on the Cognitive domain where
students are mentally stressed because of a lot of paperwork to do and sometimes led
us to depressions especially now in new normal education. So, I suggest the
developmental domain needing attention are Social/Emotional Domains and Physical
Domains. Schools should balance these three domains by providing activities and
programs. For the Physical Domain I suggest activity like 15 minutes of physical
activity at the beginning of each school day if face to face, and energizer before
starting online class (TikTok dance). More physical activities during Intramurals and
other occasions would meet the interest of 21st-century Students. For the
Social/Emotional Domain, the school should let us join competing with the other
school so that we can socialize with other schools, more social activities that would
improve our social skills, and a lot of seminars and symposiums. School leaders must

Activity 5: Preparing an ideal profile of a school that can meet the physical, social,
emotional, and intellectual needs of a learners
Reflection
How can the school support the development of learners?
Before I proceed to the main target content of this reflection, I will define first
what is school? According to Definition.net, a school is an educational institution
designed to provide learning spaces and learning environments for the teaching of
students under the direction of teachers. For me, a school is a place where students
meld their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects, in short, it is a home
for individual development. So? How can the school support the development of
learners? In my view, a school can support the development of learners by
providing different facilities that would help them grow and develop their
knowledge and skills. Another a school should have a good environment because the
condition of every building and the school environment had affected the students
learning development. The students cannot concentrate on their classes if their
school environment does not suit their learning adaptability. Thus, in educating the
learner, we should have to consider the best environment for them. Another, a
school can support the development of learners by helping them build a positive
relationship like trust in the teacher, and positive emotions, such as interest and
excitement that open up the mind to learning, because negative emotions, such as
fear of frustration or failure, doubts about oneself, and anxiety reduce the brain's
ability to process information and learn. Overall, the school has a great influence on
a person’s life, it expands our world and allows us to develop and express our
thoughts.
