Are Subramanian Swamy's allegations on

Dr Subramanyam Swamy is not a joker!

He is a very very knowledgeable Economist and a

self made advocate in the Supreme Court of India.

He has links with various spy agencies in India

and abroad. He is very active with the RTI in India
and similar legal tools in other countries too. He
can read, write and converse freely in Chinese,
English, Hindi and Tamil.

As the time progressed, we are realizing that what

Dr Swamy had said many years ago are indeed
true. If the allegations against Mrs Gandhi and

How was the actual warfare

different between Iraq and
Afghanistan?
I've heard stories from many veterans, but
one who served in Iraq described to me that
it was much more urban than Afghanistan.

As shown in this topographical map of Iraq, it

is much flatter than Afghanistan, with
population centers in large cities. As such,
the warfare was heavily urban, as opposed
to the mountainous terrain of Afghanistan.
Despite the more “welcoming" terrain, I can
say with certainty that it was much, much
more dangerous.

The above photo shows Navy SEALs with

Desert Patrol Vehicles (DPV) in Kuwait. It is
evident in the picture that the region is very
flat and urban.

Yes, there was combat in the countryside

regions, but most of the war took place in
areas around Baghdad, like the “Sunni
Triangle.”

This is a topographical map of Afghanistan.

Already, you can see that Afghanistan is
much more mountainous than Iraq.

Here, we have a photo of 75th Ranger

Regiment marksman in Afghanistan. The
photo shows the intense terrain of
Afghanistan. However, many combat
operations took place in the Helmand and
Kandahar Provinces, which are much more
flat and dry. Due to the terrain of
Afghanistan, combat operations are
significantly more difficult.

In certain cases, the only rotor raft capable

of transporting troops and supplies was the
CH-47 Chinook (Pictured above).

Many outposts, like Combat Oupost Keating

(pictured), were so heavily isolated, any
support was hours away. This eventually led
to COP Keating nearly getting overrun in the
Battle of Kamdesh.

To summarize, Iraq was mostly urban

warfare, while Afghanistan was mostly
mountain warfare.

Thousands of Americans are left behind in

from there on time although the schedule of
the US troops withdrawal was announced
way earlier? Or did they choose to stay?

The vast majority of the Americans who were

present in Afghanistan when the government fell
were effectively working for the CIA one way or
another working. CIA NOCs (Non-Official Cover
officers) frequently pose as NGO workers,
journalists, bankers, consultants, businessmen,
etc. Americans like that were wrapping up their
operations in the country when the government
fell.

I would imagine the vast majority of the

Americans trapped behind thought that they had
more time than they did. They based their
decision to remain in the country on reports from
the US government, like the one that came out 9
days before the fall of the Afghan government,
which stated that the government could hold out
for another 100 days. As a result, they were
unprepared when the security situation
deteriorated prematurely.
