The following set of data relates to a natural stream at a dam site, the values are averaged over
the past 30 years record.

For the given Reservoir operation scenarios:

 Estimate the live storage capacity of reservoir

 Plot mass curve (Mass inflow curve & demand curve)
 Propose suitable emptying and filling program

The reservoir operation scenarios are:

a) When a constant maximum supply is to be ensured from the reservoir considering

the losses due to evaporation.
b) When the specified discharges are to be released from the reservoir.
