Objectives: The main aim of this course is to gain knowledge on numerical methods used for engineering problems
and to obtain the skills necessary to apply this knowledge to numerical modeling and solution of
engineering problems.
Learning outcomes: To gain knowledge and experience on mathematical modeling, to understand the concepts of numerical
approximation and numerical error, to learn basic numerical techniques used for solving engineering
problems, to apply basic programming skills to numerical modeling.
