homogenise for 20 minutes or until a smooth Viscosity: 313, 100 +/- 10% cPs

An ocean safe sunscreen gel
with a light after feel

Key Highlights Ocean safe sunscreens are on the rise with continual focus on
marine environment. The banning of several organic UV filters
is the key driver for modern sunscreens to be formulated
without Ethyl Hexyl Methoxycinnamate (EHMC) and
Octocrylene (OCR).

This formulation contains ocean safe UV filters in a light

waterless oil gel base. The Polysilicone-11 elastomer and bio
based sensory powder contributed to the light and non greasy
after feel. With additional film forming resin for excellent water
resistance.

Process Formulation Specifications

1. Weigh each part into a vessel
pH: 6.5 +/- 0.5
2. Mix phase A until homogeneous
Viscosity: 90,000 +/- 10% cPs
3. Add phase B,C to phase A and mix Brookfield DV2TRV, sp TB, 3 rpm
until homogeneous
4. Add phase D to the mixture and mix it until
a homogeneous gel is obtained
5. Slowly add phase E,F to the mixture and mix until
homogeneous
