INTRODUCTION

Semeru Mountain (3676m) is the highest peak in the East Java. Its difficulty lies in its high
altitude and the low temperatures.
From the city of Malang/Surabaya, East java, as our starting point, we go towards Ranu
Pani Distric get to the base camp. Our itinerary is developed to give us the greatest
opportunity of hiking proccesse.

National Park (TNBTS) into a destination for climbers who like natural beauty and
scenery. Kumbolo Lake which has an area of approximately 15 hectares is a lake that is
green and beautiful, usually climbers set up tents around the area Kumbolo Lake to stay
overnight to enjoy the cool night air around .

 DIFFICULTY

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY
The Semeru Mountain Route its most difficult climbing technic, meaning that the participant need to
have any previous climbing experience on rock or another mountain everyone with good healthy
condition can climt to Semeru Mountain lake. This route may be done just on foot, depending on the
conditions of the route. These decisions will be taken by guides during the mountain trip.

PHYSICAL DIFFICULTY
In order to avoid any kind of inconvenience in the process with long route tracking to succeed in
reaching the lake, we suggest you to follow a training program adapted to the activity that you are
going to do (specifically to get a good acclimatization, carrying a load in your backpack), as well as
eating a balanced diet some months before the start date of the mountain trip. Another difficulty is
the low temperature in the mountain, such effects are reduced with a high-quality clothing and
equipment.

ITENERARY
Day One: 
Will be picked up by our driver in the morning from Surabaya directly toward heading to
Ranupani region. Arriving at Ranupani will start trekking around 4 hours to get Travel
to Ranu Kumbolo. All camping equipment will be assisted by the porter, After
arriving Trekking Ranu Kumbolo porter team will set up your tent for the night, dinner and
rest at the same time.

Day Two: 
Ranu Kumbolo located on a valley with the lake covering 12 HA. It is a rest area which has view and
upland ecosystem. Located at altitude of 2400 asl. We will continued the trip for 3 hours to Kalimati
camp., this place is where we will rest and stay overnight in tent.

Day Three
In early morning or midnight wake up at 01.00 am, start for climbs with hard trekking to the
summit of Mount Semeru via Arcopodo and Cemoro Tunggal. Reach the crater’s rim in 4
hours hiking. Will watch the sunrise if we arrive in early. Enjoy sunrise from the top of Mt
Semeru, after satisfied explore descend down back to Kali Mati base camp  for breakfast.
After breakfast, we trekking down back to Ranu Kumbolo lake  rest and we will provide
Dinner here

Day Four

Enjoy the beauty of the sunrise and the explore Ranu Kumbolo in the morning, you can take
pictures of several different views of the sides here. after lunch preparation trekking heading
to the same place that Ranupani, from here and back to Surabaya and Ranu Kumbolo Tour
program is finished.

 TERM AND CONDITION

- Copy of id 2 sheet
- Participants are in good physical and spiritual condition at the time of the ascent.
- The national park put a strict 600 people threshold per day to preserve the
environment of Mount Semeru. Visitors are encouraged to confirm the booking
way in advance to secure the spot. Depends on the season, the quota fill up fairly
quickly starting from 3 months until 3 days in advance of the hiking day. Holidays
and weekends are definitely the most booked days.
- Do not have a history of harmful disease for yourself or anyone else.
- Cancellation of the party participants at least 15 days before the day of date we
give a chance rescedule, if not taken then DP money burned.
- We reserve the right to determine the lodging during the trip, by looking at the
conditions in the field.
- The committee reserves the right to cancel trips with certain considerations, and
DP participants’ money will be refunded 100%.
- All participants who have booked, are understood and agree to all the above
provisions, and do not make excessive demands on the climb.
