The usage of software simulation to re-design the gas

system allows despite the saving in pipe sizes, the increase
in the level of safety of the system by acting on the following
points:

• Pressure Reduction Safety (Cut off of gas in case of

loss of pressure)
• Pressure Buildup Safety (Cut off gas in case of high
pressure)
• Excess Flow Valve (Cut off gas in case of important Fire Bag
safety
gas leak)
• Gas Leak Detection (Cut-off gas in case of non
significant leakage)

Value engineering (VE) is a tool that has been
adopted in the construction industry with an aim to
produce innovative ideas and solutions for
enhanced project value.

VE uses a combination data to locate and

eliminate unnecessary project costs that can
reach in cost saving between 5%–10%.

Unigaz rely on VE tool in central gas piping to
