This is Nasir Ahmad Gulestani, born on 15/08/1988 in Kabul city. I am from the Farah province district
of Gulestan. I am holding National ID Number (1398020010952), working as the head of the English
department for the Afghan National Association for adult education supported by German cooperation,
DVV international and BMZ projects in Afghanistan till 2021. At the same time, I am SENIOR HUMAN
RIGHTS DEFENDER & CIVIL ACTIVIST for white assembly organization. Previously I was working as an
Interpreter/Translator for Pacific architect and engineers (PAE) under the correction system support
Program (CSSP), a program funded by the United States Department of State of International Narcotics
and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). Furthermore, I have worked as an English instructor for MOD of
Afghanistan department of programming and analysis under support of coalition forces in Afghanistan.

  
The living situation in Kabul Afghanistan is getting worse. Afghanistan violence increased and people are
tortured psychologically and physically by the Taliban and they can be a big threat for me and my family.
All of my relatives, neighbors, friends and other people who know me are informed and know
that I have worked with foreigners (USA department of state, Germans and Coalition forces),
and am a Human rights defender. Previously I have gotten several phone contacts from
unknown people that have threatened me that why I have worked with infidels. On the other
hand, the worst economic situation with my family made me get rid of the problems that I have.
The Taliban created fears and Barbarism for people and especially for me. I have a small child
whom I need to take care of and want to have a good future for her to continue her education
and have a bright future ahead. I have 2 sisters who need to be supported and helped to have a
good future. The Taliban have a main problem with those who worked with foreigners and
NGOs as well as those who are teaching English language and besides I am a senior human
rights defender. The female members of my family have to stay at home. Taliban have problems
with their facing cover, don’t let them go out without a relationship.
The big reason is that my life is being threatened by the Taliban and soon they will find out
about me. As I mentioned before about teaching for the ministry of defense of Afghanistan so it
could be another big threat for me. This is very dangerous for me. I worked as an activist for
civil society and human rights for Afghanistan and this can be another big threat for me. If they
find out about me, they definitely kill me. This is going to be the last deadline for me that I
should hide myself safely from them otherwise I would be arrested and will be killed.
 Therefore, considering the situation, I and my family are seeking an opportunity to evacuate, toward a
prosperous future.
