your age to always respect the flag and national anthem?
4. Use word document: paper size-8.5x11, Margin-normal, spacing-single
5. Upload your output in LMS Dropbox.
6. This will serve as your quiz for the lesson

The flag, if flown from a flagpole, shall have its blue field on top in time of peace and the
red field on top in time of war; if in a hanging position, the blue field shall be to the right
(left of the observer) in time of peace and the red field to the right (left of the observer)
in time of war. A flag worn out through wear and tear shall not be thrown away. It shall
be solemnly burned to avoid misuse or desecration. The flag shall be replaced
immediately when it begins to show signs of wear and tear. May 28 to June 12 of each
year are declared as Flag Days, during which all offices, agencies and instrumentalities
of government, business establishments and institutions of learning, including private
homes, are enjoined to display the flag. As a sign of respect, all persons shall stand at
attention and face the Philippine flag, if there is one displayed, and if there is none, they
shall face the band or the conductor. At the first note, all persons shall execute a salute
by placing their right palms over their left chests. Those in military, scouting, citizen’s
military training and security guard uniforms shall give the salute prescribed by their
regulations. The salute shall be completed upon the last note of the anthem. There is
never applause after its rendition. When national anthems from different countries are
played, courtesy and long-standing accepted practice indicate that foreign national
anthems are played before the host nation's anthem. As such, the "Lupang Hinirang"
will be played first followed by the "Star Spangled Banner. “This is important Because
the Philippine flag symbolizes what we are and this is also honoring the sacrifices of our
heroes for our hard-earned freedom. The love we have for our country is best
manifested on how we give respect to our flag. In movie houses, when the National
Anthem is played, do we stand up and encourage others to do so? When there’s a flag
ceremony ongoing, do we stop and partake? The little respect we have for our flag
shows how little we have respect for anything
