She works as a musician, ‘conductor and adjudicator in both classical and contemporary genres. She regularly travels to Europe and North America to work as choral, clinician or adjudicator at National and International Festivals. She hhas been awarded numerous prizes for her contributions to the arts as a singer and conductor. F Apart from conducting UP Youth Choir from 2005, she is also the conductor of the highly prestigious and awarded Pretoria Boys High School Choir and the ‘St Mary’s Singers. ‘The University of Pretoria Youth Choir is apart ofthe multi-choir model ofthe Univer of Pretoria, South Africa. The choir consists of 92 singers aged 14 ~ 19 years from 33, different schools. The choirs repertoire is an exciting assortment of South African and Intemational music which incorporates elements of traditional music, jazz, spiritual and folk ‘music. The UP Youth Choir is recognized worldwide for its award-winning performances and spectacular artistry. Their most recent performances include singing at the Nelson Mandela Centenary which featured former President Barack Obama.
