Identification of Group:
Yes, I have a group of my university friends. In fact, we are a group of 4 students of
same faculty i.e., Chemical Engineering. And may be this is the reason of our close
resemblance and association with one another. We plan different events, share our
ideas with one another, share our feelings on different incidents and activities, work
together and these are some of the key things which bring us together, enhance our
interaction and form a “social group”.
In my point of view, any one can be part our social group if their psyche,
understanding and nature match our psyche, understanding and nature. Indeed, this
is the basic cause of building a social group.

Any unique language or cultural characteristics in our group:

We follow our national language “Urdu” and regarding the cultural characteristics
we are from same province “Punjab”, and this further brings us closer in interaction
and way of talking with one another. We gain mutual understanding easily and
follow unique culture. We have common thoughts, common way of speaking and
common customs. In short, our way of living has a very close resemblance with one
another.
Does anyone ever leave the group?
With increasing period of time, we have become a great social group with many
similarities and common traits. So, by looking at these points it automatically
becomes difficult to leave one another in this joint bond.

Classification of group:
Although almost all university, college and school friends are secondary. I would
classify my group as primary group because of the reason that we are joined
emotionally with one another and feel each other’s feeling in different phases of life.
We share common thoughts and indeed we are like a ‘family’ and studying together
in same institutes since our childhood.
