SUBJECT : Dissemination of Process Flow on the Application for Gun

Ban Exemption Relative to the 2022 National and Local
Elections (2022) NLE

DATE : December 28, 2021

1. Reference: Memorandum from RD, PROCALABARZON dated December 28,

2021 with same subject as above.

2. This pertains to the ongoing processing of applications for gun ban exemption
and availment of security personnel wherein the PNP assists the COMELEC Committee
on the Ban on Firearms and Security Concerns in issuing threat assessments and
evaluating the applications. The gun ban will take effect during the election pencil for the
May 9, 2022 NLE from January 9, 2022 until June 8. 2022.

3. In this regard, you are directed to disseminate the attached process flow on the
application of gun ban and availment of security personnel to all concerned offices/units,
personnel and stakeholders Further.

4. Submit your report of actions taken to this Office (Attn: Pomu) through email
address pomucavite2020@gmail.com of NLT 8:00 PM of December 28, 2021.
