Good morning, everyone and welcome you guys to my Netflix’s account. This is my book’s project
presentation. My name is Phuong Nghi. The book I chose is a biography book, and I know that this gerne
may be boring. So today, I’d like to present a film adaptation of it, which is made by me. This
presentation or can I say this movie will last for 5 minutes, so if you have any questions, please save it
until the end. Thank you. Now shall we begin?
This book, Princess Diana by Cherry Gilchrist, is a biography about Diana's short life, her marriage to
Prince Charles, her 'war' with the Royal Family and her love and hard work for sick and poor people all
over the world. I’ve divided this book into 4 parts: 1st is the young Diana, 2nd is a fairytale wedding, 3rd
is the new Diana and finally, her last day. Let’s begin with the 1st episode
In this episode, I want to give a brief introduction about the characters and book’s setting. As you can see,
there are at least 6 characters. Diana Spencer the main character, Prince Charles – her husband, CPB-
Prince Charles’ former-girlfriend, her 2 sons Prince William and Harry, the Royal Family and finally, her
lover DAF. The setting of this book is placed at England, Buckingham palace and Paris. In the first
chapter, the author introduces there is a girl who was born into a family that has been close to the Crown
since the times of Charles II – Diana Spencer. Although she grew up with the Royal, she didn’t really
know Charles, not until Diana went to parties. July 1980, they started dating. These are photos when
Diana ABC and ABC. Next is photos where the couple were together in Scotland and on a deck ABC.
Moving on the 2nd episode, the Royal fairytale wedding. On February 3, 1981, at Buckingham palace,
32-year-old Charles proposed to 19-year-old Diana. July 29th ,1981, Prince Charles married Lady
Spencer Diana. In 1984, she became a mother of two sons, Prince William (born in 1982) and Prince
Harry (born in 1984). After marriage, Diana became a ‘busy princess, wife and mother’, actively working
with charities. However, she soon found out her husband often telephoned his former girlfriend - Camila
Parker. This creates the conflict in the story, a conflict between Charles and Diana. These are photos of
Diana and Prince Charles at the ground of BP after announcing their engagement. On the right is her
engagement ring, a dazzling sapphire with amazing 12-carat, oval-cut jewel and is estimated to be worth
£390,000, approximately 11 billion VNĐ. The fairy tale wedding of Wales. Her family’s photos with

3rd episode is about the new Diana. Although Diana’s life looked perfect, she was far from happy. In
1982, she suffered a serious eating disorder, she fell down some stairs, she even tried to kill herself for the
first time during her first pregnancy and she would sometimes inflict wounds on herself after the baby
was born. Her marriage had failed, and she felt devastated. They didn’t even sleep in the same bed.
Charles was still seeing Camilla and showed no interest in her. He even went off to the theater when his
son William had a serious accident. These rising actions lead to a climax, in August 1996, Lady Diana
Spencer finally divorced. And as you can see, the black dress Diana was wearing is the iconic “revenge
dress”. Why is it called a revenge dress? because Diana wore it on the same evening that Prince Charles
publicly confessed to his affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles in his documentary. In addition, the off-the-
shoulder, form-fitting, black silk dress is something not-so-fit for a princess. Here are some iconic
revenge dresses from Princess Diana. She looks like “a million dollars”.
Lastly, the final episode, her last day. After the divorce, the alimony she received was over £17 million.
She visited children’s hospitals, travelled to other countries, did charities, … In July 1997, she went on
holiday with the Al Fayeds, a rich Muslim family who had been friends of the Spencers for a long time.
During the holiday Diana and a filmmaker Dodi Al Fayed, started a romance. Paris, August 30th. After
having dinner at the Ritz Hotel, they were trying to escape from paparazzi who were so frantically
following them when their car, driven at over 160 km an hour, crashed against a pillar. Dodi and the
driver died in the accident; Diana was hurt badly, only the bodyguard survived. About 4 ‘clock in the
morning, Diana passed away. With timeless splendor, a sea of tears and a brother’s rage, Britain bade
farewell today to its “Queen of Hearts,” a million mourners or more seeing Diana, Princess of Wales, to
her final rest after a life of golden days, heartache and too few years. That brings me to the end, I’d like to
remind you 4 parts I’ve mentioned the young Diana, the fairytale wedding, the new Diana, and her last
