GOLDEN GARNET™ is an eco-friendly Almandine Variety Abrasive with its unique hardness,
toughness and specific gravity guarantees higher productivity and efficiency on blasting and
water jet cutting applications. Garnet is an environmentally safe mineral being inert, nontoxic,
and contains less than 0.1% of free silica.
PROPERTIES
PACKING
Packing is done on automatic filling and packing machines to ensure quality packing with accurate
weight. Available in following
25kg & 50kg PP/Paper Bags
1 Ton or 2 Ton HDPE Jumbo Bags
Indian garnet is a natural mixture of almandine garnet – Fe₃Al₂ (SiO₄)₃ and other trace
(<1.5%) minerals. It is suitable for use as a low free silica blast cleaning media. The
following listed substances are present and regulated by OSHA. CAS# 1302-62-1:

Natural radiation levels are equal to or less than background levels. Meets US navy
standards requirement.
• if these levels are exceeded respiratory protection must be employed.
Eye :
Hold Eye as open and rinse continuously with a gentle stream of clean running water
for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if any irritation or soreness of eye
persists
Inhalation :
Remove the victim from source of exposure into fresh air and seek medical attention
if any symptoms persist.
Skin :
No Specific first aid is required for skin contact. Remove clothing & wash skin with
soap and/or water. Seek medical attention if any irritation or soreness of the skin
develops.
Ingestion :
First aid is unlikely to be required but if necessary rinse mouth with water ensuring
that mouthwash is not swallowed and seek medical attention.
Wear safety equipements as for normal handling , avoid generating dust. Sweep or vaccum
up, recycle/reuse or dispose to landfill subject to local regulations. Transport is not
regulated and no specific storage requirements.
Storage :
Transport is not regulated and there is no specific storage requirement but storage
should be designed to minimize creation of dust.
Spillage :
Wear Protective Equipment as specified for handling. Sweep or Vaccum up and reuse or
dispose. Avoid Generation of Dust.
Ventilation :
Ventilation requirement will depend upon handling methods and amount is use but
extraction or make up air may be required to minimize dust layers/levels below
exposure limits
Protective Equipment:
Safety Gogglees or Glasses. A dust Type respirator may be required to prevent ingestion
TLV (TWA) : 10 mg/m³ as total dust.

The matter is unlikely to cause any environmental damage if handled, used and disposed off
in the approved manner. It is insoluble in water and unlikely to contaminate waterways or
enter the food chains.
This is a non-hazardous material; disposal must be in accordance with federal , state and
local regulations. Consult and comply with current regulations. If approved, may be
transferred to an landfill site.
