1.1 SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE AT SOPO SUBSTATION

In coordination with authorities following steps shall be followed:

1. Confirm that PTW has been taken from NEEPCO on duty staff at power house.

2. Open 33kv Sopo (Colony) breaker.

3. Take proper confirmation of 33 KV colony breaker open (telephonically or through message).
4. Open 33kv side Isolator then apply earth switch at sopo substation.
5. Open 11kv Sopo breaker.
6. Open 11kv side Isolator then apply earth switch.
7. Put local earthing and ensure for zero potential at equipment on which we have to perform work.

1.2 SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE OF SOPO SUBSTATION FROM POWERHOUSE

1. Confirm that PTW has been taken from NEEPCO on duty staff at power house.
2. Open 33kv outgoing colony breaker.
3. Rack Out 33kv outgoing colony breaker for safety reasons.
4. Open the Gang Switch located in between SOPO substation and powerhouse.
5. Apply local local earthing while working in any of the equipments.

1.3 CHARGING PROCEDURE AT SOPO SUBSTATION

1. Confirm that work permit has taken from NEEPCO on duty staff at power house.
2. Remove all local Eathings used while working in any equipment.
3. Open Earthswitch applied in 11kv/33kv side Isolator.
4. Closed Isolator for 11kv/33kv side Sopo Substation.
5. Get confirmation from senior officials at powerhouse before charging Sopo breaker.
6. Closed 33kv Sopo breaker.
7. Closed 11Kv Sopo breaker.

1.4 OPERATION STEPS FOR CHARGING PROCEDURE AT SOPO SUBSTATION FROM

POWERHOUSE

1. Confirm that work permit has taken from NEEPCO on duty staff at power house.
2. Remove all local Earthings use while working in any equipment.
3. Rack In 33kv outgoing colony breaker at powerhouse.
4. Coordinate with powerhouse officials before they charge 33kv outgoing colony breaker.
5. Closed 33kv Circuit breaker at sopo substation after getting intimation from powerhouse.
6. Closed gang switch.

1.5 CHANGEOVER FROM LOCAL GRID TO DG AT SOPO SUBSTATION

1. Confirm that work permit has taken from NEEPCO on duty staff at power house.
2. Grid Incomer MCB of 415V panel OFF.
3. Start DG.
4. DG Incomer MCB at 415Volt panel ON.
5. Outgoing MCB 415Volt panel MCB ON.

1.6 CHANGEOVER FROM DG TO LOCAL GRID AT SOPO SUBSTATION

1. Confirm that work permit has taken from NEEPCO on duty staff at power house.
2. Outgoing 415Volt MCB OFF.
3. DG OFF.
4. DG Incomer MCB OFF at 415Volt panel.
5. Grid Incomer MCB ON at 415Volt panel.
