ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF INDUSTRY


Manufacturing Organization Structure :
Organization is the key to operating a successful and orderly business. Each person in the
company must know his role within the organization and must be cognizant of the chain
of command. Organization structure is visually demonstrated through organization charts.
An organization chart shows the chain of command of the company The proper flow of
responsibility from the top of the organization down to the bottom is essential for the
company to run in an efficient manner.
Executive Management
Executive management is the top of the organization An executive manager is a person
with the title of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, President or other
similar title. An executive manager has the ultimate responsibility of choosing a
manufacturing strategy and is also ultimately responsible for the outcomes of that strategy.
A wise executive manager will seek input and feedback from his subordinates when
devising a manufacturing strategy.
